REVEREND DAVID DONG WON KIM 김동원 목사
Cert IV of TESOL, Dipl.in Chinese, TAE 40116, CPE, B.Th, M.Div
I was born and brought up in a small village 'San Chung' near Mt. Jiri in South Korea.
I earned a Bachelor of Theology from Hanshin University, a Presbyterian Church (PROK) University in Seoul, South Korea, and a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary (PCUSA) in San Anselmo, California, USA.
I was ordained by the San Francisco Presbytery (PCUSA) in 2005, and became a UCA minister in 2009.
I believed learning other languages would be a great asset/tool for ministry, so I have learned and still learning English and Chinese. With a leverage/privilege/blessing of speaking other languages, I have served in various ministry and mission placements in South Korea, USA, Australia, and China as a church minister, chaplain, and teacher.
I have been also involved in local, regional, and global mission projects such as free education programs for children in India and China, clean water project in North Korea (DPRK), and ministry partnership with aboriginal churches in North Queensland.
I married to Susan in 1999, and we have two beautiful daughters, Claire and Danielle.
